This tasty homemade apple cake is amazing. Itโ€™s delicious, not too sweet, and moist. You will love the crunchiness of the fresh apples!

4 c. diced apples (without peel)

2 large eggs

1 c. vegetable oil

2 c. each white sugar and all-purpose flour

2 tsp. ground cinnamon

1 tsp. each baking soda and vanilla extract

1/2 tsp. salt

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and then lightly grease and flour a cake pan (9X13 inch).
  2. Combine oil and eggs and beat until foamy. Add vanilla, flour, sugar, ground cinnamon, salt, and baking soda. Mix well and then stir in the diced apples.
  3. Pour batter into the greased and floured cake pan.
  4. Bake for about 40 minutes. Let cool for about 10 minutes.

This homemade apple cake does not need frosting. You can serve it as is.

Apple cake is very simple, but its simplicity is actually what makes it stand out. Everybody would love the diced apples nestled in the cake. To get better results, it is highly recommended that you utilize baking apples as they can hold their shape and crunchiness even when baked. Or, if you want, you are also free to use different varieties. This right here will result in a better flavor.

Like what we have said earlier, you can serve this apple cake as is. But if you wish to make it make exciting, you can top it with lightly sweetened whipped cream. A scoop or two of vanilla ice cream would be great as well. You can serve the cake warm, chilled, or at room temperature.

Make this Homemade Apple Cake as you start to learn baking. Sooner or later, you can try to add some variations. Again, this recipe may seem to be very simple, but itโ€™s definitely something that you can be proud of.
