Mango Vanilla Whipped Cream is a fancy mango dessert that is ridiculously easy to make. No cooking nor complicated ingredients involved.
3 large mangoes
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 tsp. orange zest
1 c. heavy whipping cream
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
mint leaves (for garnish)
- Chop peeled mangoes and reserve half of one for garnishing.
- Put the slices into a food processor and add orange zest as well as 1 tablespoon of sugar. Blend until smooth.
- In a bowl, combine cream, vanilla, and remaining sugar. Whip until stiff peaks form.
- Place the mango puree and cream mixture in glasses. Do this in layers.
- Dice the reserved mango and use that, along with mint leaves, for garnishing.
- The riper the mangoes are, the better.
- You can also substitute the granulated sugar with cane sugar.
