Historians say that toffee originated from England, and the very first one was made as early as 1825. Wow! That’s like two centuries ago! Back in September 2002, the biggest piece of toffee was created by Susie’s South Forty Confections, Inc. in Midland, Texas.

So why is toffee very popular? Simple. It is delicious! This is why it is usually used to flavor cakes, ice cream, and many other desserts, such as this triple-layer cracker toffee bar recipe that we are going to talk about. This right here proves that crackers are not only a good match for a bowl of soup or perhaps a cup of hot coffee in the morning. With just a little bit of creativity, you can definitely pull off an addictively delicious dessert. Thanks to the rich taste of toffee, of course. 🙂
